Standards
Editorial policy
This policy governs everything published on Best Car Insurance Florida. It exists so readers can judge how much weight to give our work.
Scope and point of view
We cover one subject—best car insurance in Florida—for Florida drivers choosing, renewing or comparing an auto insurance policy. We explain how the market works, what drives prices, which coverage decisions matter, and how to compare options. We do not rate or recommend individual insurance companies, and we do not publish negative claims about any insurer or agent.
Sourcing standard
- Factual statements about coverage rules, state requirements and market statistics are attributed to a primary or authoritative secondary source listed on the page and in our Sources index.
- We prefer industry research bodies, actuarial and safety institutes, consumer organisations and published state requirements over news coverage.
- Cost figures are presented as ranges or averages with the source and year. Individual premiums vary, and we never promise a specific rate.
What we will not publish
- Claims of "free" insurance, guaranteed prices or rates below what the market supports.
- Fabricated programs, rules, deadlines or urgency ("offer ends tonight").
- References to specific insurance company names or logos, or to public figures.
- Disparaging language about insurers, agents or any group of drivers.
Review and updates
Every guide shows a published and updated date. Pages are reviewed at least twice a year and whenever a state changes a minimum requirement that affects the topic. Corrections are made in place and noted in the page's updated date.
Who writes
Our authors are listed on the Authors page with their background. They are independent writers and researchers, not licensed agents acting on behalf of any insurer.
Advertising separation
Monetised placements are labelled "Sponsored" and described in our Advertising Disclosure. Partners never see content before publication.
